Service 01

CNC Turning

Turning is at the centre of what we do: round parts turned to size and to drawing, from a single replacement bush machined out of bar stock through to a batch of several hundred spacers that all have to measure the same.

Threads, grooves, bores, chamfers and face features are handled in as few set-ups as possible, which keeps parts concentric and keeps the price sensible.

Service 02

CNC Milling

Plates, brackets and profiles machined on a CNC machining centre. If it needs pockets, slots, bolt patterns, stepped faces or a profile cut from plate, that is everyday work here.

We work from 2D drawings, 3D models or a sample part, and we are happy to suggest how a design could be simplified to cut machining time without affecting what it does.

Service 03

Precision Machining & Fitting

Sometimes a part does not need making — it needs bringing back to size. Boring, reaming, facing and fitting work where clearances, interference fits and concentricity genuinely matter.

We measure what you have, tell you honestly what we can hold and what we cannot, then work to the tolerance the application actually needs rather than over-specifying it.

  • Bored and reamed holes to size
  • Bearing and bush fitting
  • Keyway cutting and step machining
  • Facing and squaring of worn surfaces
  • Recovering worn bores and journals

Service 04

Fabrication & Welding

Frames, guards, brackets, stands and repairs — cut, formed and welded in mild steel, stainless steel and aluminium.

The usual approach is to measure from the original or from the machine it has to fit, fabricate to suit, and finish it so it does the job it was made for. A one-off repair gets the same care as a batch of repeat frames.

Service 05

Prototypes & One-Offs

Most products start life as a single part made by hand. Bring a sketch, a CAD model or a broken original and we will turn it into a real component you can test, fit and hold.

Because the workshop is small, prototype work is genuinely welcome here: no minimum order, no tooling charge and no pressure. We will also tell you what we would change before you commit to producing a quantity.

Service 06

Batch & Repeat Production

Once a part is proven, repeat batches are straightforward. Set-ups, tooling and inspection notes are recorded per job, so the tenth batch matches the first.

We keep your drawing and set-up details on file, which means a re-order is a quick email rather than a re-quote, and the price stays consistent.

Service 07

Repairs, Modifications & Reverse Engineering

Broken part, no drawing, machine standing still. We measure what is there, work out what it should have been, and make a replacement that fits.

Reverse engineering is often the quickest way to get an obsolete or imported component back into service without waiting weeks for a spare that may no longer exist.

  • Replacement of obsolete or discontinued components
  • Worn shafts, housings and covers
  • Modifications to existing parts and assemblies

Service 08

Assembly, Finishing & Fitting

Components that arrive separately can leave as a finished item — deburred, finished, pressed, fitted and assembled with the fasteners you specify.

Where a specialist finish such as plating, anodising or painting is needed, we will manage the process and return the parts ready for use.
